The girls' manicures lasted way longer than I expected them to! Katrina came home the next day from school with one nail wrap off (it probably wasn't sealed properly because she wasn't a big fan of the heat from the hair dryer.

I did and it worked way better for me! The wrap went on smoother, with no ripples or bumps and right now my stretch nail is on day 16 and going strong! I knew that they were supposed to last longer though, so I contacted my consultant and she recommended trying the "pull & stretch" application method. My nails have zero chips or bubbles. After my first try, some of my nails only lasted 5 days before I was ready to remove them because the tips were lifting which was driving me crazy. Today, I ran errands, went grocery shopping, baked three dozen cupcakes, chocolate dipped two dozen strawberries, cooked dinner, hand washed a bunch of dishes, scrubbed two cast iron pans, and changed way too many diapers. Last night, I put on a fresh set of fingernail wraps. I see future wrap applications lasting longer! I did my toes next, and they looked pretty good! By the time I did the girls' fingernails, I was pretty much a Jamberry pro!īecause of the bubbling on the ends, and my incessant picking at the bubbling, my first wraps lasted about 10 days. I'll be honest, my first attempt wasn't that great and I had some bubbling, but I figured out a few tricks as I went along. Two weeks ago, I sat down to figure out this whole Jamberry thing while the kids were at preschool. How fun is that?Įllie really wanted a photo of her pretty flower nails with her bunny. My girls both suck their thumbs, but the Mommy and Me nails are too cute to pass up! I ended up emailing Rachel about my concern over their thumb-sucking, and she let me know that one of her customers had actually taken the wraps into her pediatrician's office, and they said they were fine! Yay! There are several designs that come in adult and kid sizes so that your girls can have nails just like you. My favorite part of Jamberry is the non-toxic aspect. Each wrap sheet also has enough wraps to do 2 manicures, 2 pedicures, and still have extras for accents! That's a much better value than a nail salon. Jamberry Nail Wraps come in over 300 designs and are non-toxic, have no scent, don't chip, and have zero drying time. The best way to do this is to apply the wraps to all of the fingers on one hand before going back to trim and file them. If you mess with them too soon, they bubble at the end. The wraps have to be completely cool before you trim or file them.
Jamberry reminisce skin#
You don't want the wrap to touch your cuticle or skin once it has bonded. It's better to use a too small wrap than a too big wrap.Make sure that your cuticles are pushed all the way back and your nails are prepped completely before starting.

Not that I know that from experience or anything.
Jamberry reminisce how to#
If you suddenly remember that it's Bird Day at your child's preschool and you are supposed to go to it, that is not the time to rush through learning how to use these.
Jamberry reminisce trial#
I also learned a few things through trial and error: You can see the application steps in this video: In spite of my nervousness, they ended up being pretty easy to get the hang of. Everything I would need to thoroughly try out Jamberry. Rachel was kind enough to send me a couple of wrap sets in my favorite color (purple!!) along with wraps for my girls as well! She also sent a heater and a nail application set. But I really didn't see how wraps would stick to my nails without falling off or chipping. I'd seen them floating around FaceBook which had piqued my interest, and I thought that they sounded interesting. Rachel, a Jamberry consultant, sent me an email and asked if I wanted to try Jamberry Nail Wraps.
